We have had the good fortune to practice in the fields of law, finance and investments for decades. We have been advisors and principals. We have built deep and long relationships throughout the disciplines that matter to our clients. And while our clients are often new relationships, we don't so much meet new friends as recognize them.
We help our clients use traditional professions - legal, corporate finance, accounting and investment management services - to achieve unique and innovative results. Our clients first want to protect the value they have created. To do so, we look beyond public investment vehicles like stocks, bonds and hedge funds and deploy strategies that have unique economic outcomes, consistent with tax legislation and policy. In so doing, we create net worth alpha in addition to investment alpha.

Ken McCord, CFA
CEO, Portfolio Manager
A financial services executive with over 25 years’ experience. A registered portfolio manager with the Ontario Securities Commission, Ken possesses the skills and experience to identify risk and return opportunities with investment structures, products, solutions and transactions. Ken has significant experience with both large enterprises and entrepreneurial environments. Just prior to co-founding Red Jacket in 2011, Ken was the President of Horizon AlphaPro. Along with Dave Sanderson, he completed a management buyout of the company in 2017.

Dave Sanderson, LL.B
President, Portfolio Manager
Dave began his career as a litigation lawyer at Stikeman, Elliott’s Toronto office. He practiced for 6 years until he began a career in financial services in 1997. Over the course of the last 20 years, Dave has held various positions in asset management firms. Just prior to co-founding Red Jacket, Dave was a VP and Managing Director of BMO Nesbitt Burns. He then co-founded and was President and CEO of KFL Investment Management Inc. and PM at KFL Capital Management Inc. (the predecessor firm of Red Jacket Capital Inc.).
